Two-Book Graphic Novel Deal with Andrews McMeel
I'm happy to share that Curses, by author-illustrator Chelsea Carr, has sold to Andrews McMeel in a two-book deal.

After 500 years of losing her temper — and occasionally turning people into animals — Wilma the witch is forced to make a fresh start in Happy Hollow, a relentlessly cheerful town where conflict is strictly forbidden. With help from her upbeat fairy neighbor Pixel and her frog-turned brother Edwin, Wilma begins to discover that negative feelings aren’t the enemy, and that anger can be channeled into friendship, problem-solving, and maybe even a little (positive) magic.

Graphic Novel Deal with Papercutz
I'm pleased to share that Woodland Hills, the debut graphic novel by Josh Smeaton, has sold to Papercutz. It was originally sold to Pixel + Ink, which "changed business direction" and cancelled the project. It's so great that Woodland Hills found a new home!

Niles is a prickly, lonely skunk who has never quite fit in at Woodland Hills, until he unexpectedly bonds with JB, the friendly and popular son of the school principal. When the two friends accidentally spark a paper-plane craze at school, Niles begins to let his guard down — but a humiliating run-in with classmate Rodrick threatens both his confidence and his new friendship.

Editor Adam Wallenta acquired world rights, with publication planned for 2028.
Congratulations, Josh!
New Graphic Novel Deal with Reycraft
I'm happy to share that Bumble Brothers Halloween Superheroes, written by Steve Metzger and illustrated by Brian Schatell, has sold to Reycraft.

The fourth book in the Bumble Brothers series, this one centers on a typically silly Halloween adventure! The Bumble Brothers are ready for trick-or-treating... but Christopher is not so sure he’s ready for monsters, spooky decorations, or being Foxarino instead of his favorite superhero, Frabbit. As the night gets scarier and sillier, Christopher discovers that being brave doesn’t mean you’re never afraid, and that Foxarino might be exactly the hero he needs to be.

Editor Wiley Blevins acquired world rights, with publication set for fall 2028.
Congratulations, Steve and Brian!
