Nala loves fashion – especially kawaii fashion, inspired by Japanese streetwear. And Nala is about to have the best summer ever, as she attends a special fashion camp in the city.
But fashion camp is challenging, and there are other kids attending who are really talented. Nala wants to stay true to her designs, but wonders if they will measure up. As her self-doubt grows, she is visited by a squirrel named Timothy, who claims he can help her. But what does a squirrel know about fashion?

Misako Rocks is a Japanese manga artist who has published books worldwide. Her ongoing graphic novel series, Bounce Back, was selected for the American Library Association’s Best Graphic Novels for Children list. She also creates the activity book series How to Draw Kawaii Manga with Misako Rocks, which teaches young readers how to draw cute manga characters and fashion.
